Registration
How do I register for ILMUNC XLI?
To register for ILMUNC XLI, complete the initial registration form posted on the ILMUNC website under “Registration.” You will then receive access to your Faculty Advisor Portal through your email, as well as an invoice. Once you have completed all registration tasks in your portal and we have received your payment, your delegation will be officially registered for ILMUNC XLI. Please see “General Information” for additional specifics on the registration process or feel free to contact dir-gen@ilmunc.com if you have any additional questions.
Is there a maximum number of delegates that my school can register?
No. ILMUNC does not enforce a maximum number of delegates per school.
Are all delegations, including independent delegations, required to bring a chaperone or faculty advisor?
Yes, all delegations are required to bring at least one faculty advisor for every 20 delegates. Additional chaperones may be brought at no extra cost, however, they do not count towards the 1-to-20 FA-to-delegate ratio. All independent delegates are still required to bring at least one faculty advisor, though that faculty advisor need not be affiliated with a school. What is the application Process for financial aid?
At ILMUNC, we are dedicated to offering an accessible and affordable international relations educational experience for high school students. If you believe paying for registration would be a significant burden for you, please see our Financial Aid program at ilmunc.com/financial-aid, and apply for the program via the option on the initial registration form. Does ILMUNC have a waitlist?
Yes, ILMUNC does have a waitlist. ILMUNC will be capping registration at 2,400 delegates. Delegations that register after we have hit our cap that pay their invoice will be added to the waitlist. Please see our “General Information” page for more detailed information about the waitlist process.
Committees
What is ILMUNC’s policy for commuter schools and schools who are staying at hotels other than the marriott?
Delegates are permitted to stay at other hotels if accompanied by a chaperone. To note this, be sure to indicate as such in your Faculty Advisor Portal when the Hotel Information task becomes available. Delegations that make other accommodations will incur an additional charge of $40 per person each night. Additionally, please contact dir-gen@ilmunc.com if your delegation plans on staying at a hotel that is not the Marriott.
When will country assignments be released?
Country assignments will be released approximately six weeks from the start of Conference (the week of December 22nd).
Does ILMUNC offer MUN workshops? How do i register for them?
Yes, ILMUNC does offer a variety of workshops to help delegates prep for Conference. More information will be coming soon.
Does ILMUNC have a dress code during committee Session?
All delegates are expected to wear Western Business Attire during committee sessions. The dress code will be strictly enforced by Chairs.
Are Faculty Advisors permitted to sit in committee session?
Faculty advisors are permitted to sit in committee sessions, as long as they remain undisruptive. Chairs reserve the right to ask faculty advisors to leave if they are disruptive to committee session. Note that chaperones are not permitted to sit in on committee sessions and will be asked to leave if identified.
