It is with great enthusiasm that ILMUNC announces its partnership PURMUN! ILMUNC & PURMUN will be hosting the first ever one-day conference on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. The conference will take place in the School of Education Building within the Rio Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. Our dedicated team of organizers, chairs, and staff has been working tirelessly to ensure that our conference upholds the highest standards of excellence and provides an unforgettable learning experience. Committee Rules

ILMUNC x PURMUN will enforce a strict no-laptop policy to ensure that delegates have the best possible Model UN experience. For more information on committee flow and parliamentary procedure, please refer to our delegate guide below. By registering for ILMUNC Puerto Rico, all delegates also agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct linked below.

9:00AM - 9:30AM: Check-In

9:30AM - 10:00AM: Opening Ceremonies

10:15AM - 1:00PM: Committee Session 1

1:00PM - 2:00PM: Lunch

2:00PM - 5:00PM: Committee Session 2

5:00PM - 6:00PM: Closing Ceremonies & Awards

 

Position Papers

All delegates MUST submit a position paper by EOD Thursday, January 30th to qualify for awards. You may submit position papers via the following link: https://forms.gle/LgDujsXgYg2Kd7CS8.

Awards

Each committee will give out a few verbal commendations, a few honorable mentions, a few outstanding delegate awards, one best delegate award, and one position paper award. The number of total awards will be based on committee size.

Registration Details

Registration has opened! It will close on Wednesday, January 29th. All delegates must pay a $15 fee to register. Payment details can be found on the registration form below. Delegates can expect committee assignments by Sunday, January 26th if registered before then.
