GABRIEL GREENFIELD

Gabriel Greenfield is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in Modern Middle East Studies. Originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, Gabe discovered his passion for Model UN during his sophomore year of high school. At Penn, he serves as President of Prism, the university’s interfaith club, and is the founder and leader of Breaking Bread, a dialogue initiative promoting meaningful conversations across differences. He is also a board member of Penn’s competitive Model UN team and active in Greek life. Outside of these activities, Gabriel enjoys traveling, personal development, going out, and cooking for friends. He loves both intellectual and social engagement—and believes ILMUNC is the perfect place for both. He is thrilled to serve as Secretary-General of ILMUNC XLII.

MATTHEW BAROTZ

Matthew Barotz is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with minors in Sustainability and Data Science. He grew up in Scarsdale, NY, where he led his high school's Model UN club and even attended ILMUNC his senior year. Matthew is interested in clean energy and climate policy, and in his free time, he likes to cook with his friends and hunt for the best restaurant in Philadelphia. Matthew is incredibly proud to serve as ILMUNC XLII’s Director-General and can't wait to meet you all in January!

KYLE FUKUMOTO

Kyle Fukumoto is a junior from Los Angeles, CA studying Political Science. Kyle has been involved in Model UN since his freshman year of high school, and cannot wait to see delegates spark thought-provoking debate and insightful resolutions. Aside from ILMUNC, Kyle is also involved in the Wharton Investment & Trading Group, Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club, and Wharton Hedge Fund Club. In his free time, he loves to run, read, and go to the beach.

ASHTI TIWARI

Ashti Tiwari is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Data Science and Analytics. She is originally from Upstate New York. Although she was not involved with Model UN in high school, she has loved being part of ILMUNC since she joined. Outside ILMUNC, Ashti is a student fellow for Perry World House and an opinion columnist for The Daily Pennsylvanian. In her free time, you can find her roaming around center city for a sweet treat or visiting the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She is incredibly excited to meet all the delegates for ILMUNC XLII!

MARC VAZ

Marc is a senior studying Computer Science in the School of Engineering, while also pursuing a master’s in Computer Science. Originally from New Jersey, Marc has been involved with ILMUNC since his sophomore year and is thrilled to be serving as this year’s Chief of Operations. Outside of ILMUNC, he’s the bassist for the Mask and Wig Band and a member of a few engineering clubs. In his free time, Marc enjoys writing music, hosting jam sessions, and cooking with friends. He can’t wait to welcome everyone to ILMUNC this January!

HALIMA OSMAN

Halima is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Political Science with a concentration in American Politics, and minoring in Legal Studies and History. Originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Halima wasn’t involved in Model UN before college but quickly found a home in ILMUNC and is excited to serve on the Secretariat for her third year. Outside of ILMUNC, she is Secretary for Beyond Arrest, an Opinion Columnist for The Daily Pennsylvanian, and Philanthropy Chair for Old Alpha Chi. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and binge watching her favorite shows. Halima is so excited to meet everyone this January!

WILL HELM

Will is a Wharton student studying Finance and Behavioral Economics and minoring in Cognitive Neuroscience. Hailing from New York City (the best city in the world), he has been participating in Model UN since middle school and led his high school’s team as Co-Captain. Along with ILMUNC, Will is also a Wharton Ambassador, a Wharton Leadership Venture Fellow, a member of Penn’s Club Ski & Snowboarding Club, and a Brooklyn-99 enthusiast. Will is thrilled to be serving as a USG and can’t wait to meet everyone at ILMUNC XLII!

AMI MUNDRA

Ami Mundra is a freshman studying Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. She's originally from Clarksburg, Maryland! In high school, Ami was involved in speech and debate teams including Model UN for all four years. She especially loved competing in crisis committees! Outside of ILMUNC, she is a member of Social Impact Consulting and Society of Women Engineers. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and traveling. JOSH LEVINE

Josh Levine is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with minors in Data Science and Legal Studies. He is from the Boston suburbs and has substantial experience in the legal and business sectors. In addition to ILMUNC, Josh is involved with Social Impact Consulting and Club Squash at Penn. He also enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with his family and dog. He can’t wait to welcome everyone to Philadelphia in January!

JESSE VAN DOREN

Jesse Van Doren is a freshman studying Political Science and Environmental Science. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Jesse was a committed MUN kid for all four years of high school and has loved seeing the other side of MUN as a member of ILMUNC. Jesse also competes with Penn’s Mock Trial Team, writes for the student newspaper, and conducts research on coral bleaching. JULIE SIDANA

Julie Sidana is a sophomore in the School of Engineering and Applied Science majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. She is originally from Palo Alto, CA. Although she was not involved with Model UN in high school, she has loved being part of ILMUNC since she has joined. Outside of ILMUNC, Julie is involved with research in a robotics lab and serves on the executive board for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In her free time, Julie loves pilates, going for walks along the Schuylkill, and finding new coffee shops in Philadelphia. OLIVIA ROMAN

Olivia Roman is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Economics with a minor in Consumer Psychology. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Olivia has been active in Model United Nations throughout high school as a delegate. Outside of ILMUNC, Olivia is involved in the Jewish Heritage Program and Greek Life. In her free time, she enjoys singing and discovering new places in Philly. Molly Lang is an incoming sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. She is from Silver Spring, Maryland. Molly is studying international relations, with minors in Spanish, legal studies, and political science. In addition to ILMUNC, Molly is involved with Penn Club Swim, Penn Democrats, and Greek Life. Jose Gonzalez is a sophomore in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences studying Systems Science & Engineering. He is from Concepcion, Chile, but has lived in Los Angeles, Tampa, and Tallahassee. He is passionate about soccer and spending time with friends and family. ELLA CARPENTER

Ella Carpenter is a second-year student in the School of Arts and Sciences majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and minoring in Consumer Psychology. She is originally from NYC, but has lived in Seattle for most of her life. She was involved in debate and mock trial throughout high school but never participated in MUN—making her experiences with ILMUNC all the more exciting. At Penn, Ella tutors for the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project and, in her free time, enjoys running, teaching at CorePower, and discovering new food spots. She is thrilled to take on her new role as a Business Director for ILMUNC XLII!

Devon Yau is a sophomore from Johns Creek, Georgia studying Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania. On campus, he performs with the Excelano Project (a spoken poetry group), is on board in the Chinese Student Association, and consults for Global Research and Consulting. BRIANNA KWAN

Brianna is a junior from Brooklyn, New York studying Cognitive Science and Computer Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. Despite being new to Model UN, she joined ILMUNC XLI in 2024 to foster a transformative environment in the Model UN realm. Outside of ILMUNC, Brianna is a web developer for Penn Spark, tour guide for Kite & Key, and People & Operations Manager for Penn Student Agencies. In her free time, she is probably hitting pull or legs at the gym or adding more places to her Beli. Brianna is super stoked for ILMUNC XLII and is looking forward to meeting everyone!

Zak is a sophomore from Montclair, New Jersey studying International Relations and Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. On campus he’s involved in the Daily Pennsylvanian, Amnesty International, the Undergraduate Economic Society, and so much more! AMABEL AJAKAYE

Amabel Ajakaye is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences studying International Relations with a minor in Consumer Psychology. Originally from Houston, Texas, Amabel competed in Model UN conferences and loved the competitive environment created and can not wait to cultivate that experience through ILMUNC in college for students with the same drive and excitement. Outside of ILMUNC, Amabel is involved in Black Wharton and the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. She loves traveling, spending time with friends and family, and baking. Originally from Long Island, New York, Mollie Falkove is a freshman at the Wharton School studying finance. Outside of ILMUNC, Mollie is also involved in Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club, Jewish Undergraduate Business Association, and Wharton Management Club. In her free time, Mollie loves to run, hike, ski, read, and swim in the ocean. She is psyched to take on her new role as a USG of Affairs and meet all of the delegates at ILMUNC XLII!

Oren Gitig is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is an undecided major interested in applied mathematics. Originally from Westchester, New York, Oren was on her high school Model UN team for all four years. Outside of ILMUNC, Oren tutors through the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project and the Weingarten Center and is involved in Penn Hillel. CHRIS TYBURSKI

Chris is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Physics and Philosophy. In addition to ILMUNC, Chris is involved with Penn Club Basketball, Penn Neuroscience Club, and is the philanthropy chair at his fraternity. In his free time, Chris enjoys lifting, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his friends and family.
